In doing so, Kate showcased her transition to summertime attire in pale blue Elie Saab – pairing the chiffon and lace dress with matching Kiki McDonough drop earrings, and a Philip Treacy hat.

The Duchess has made various appearances at the annual racing event. In 2017, Kate opted for a white lace Alexander McQueen dress in keeping with the formal dress code associated with the celebrated event.

It’s also not the first time Kate has chosen a pussy-bow style either. Earlier this year, the royal wore a purple Gucci blouse with high-waisted trousers for a visit to the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre in London.

The Duchess enjoyed the company of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands for the second day in a row. Yesterday, the pair attended the Order of the Garter Service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The royal engagement saw the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex welcome Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Maxima, on the special day on the royal calendar. The event saw King Felipe VI of Spain and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands officially invested by the Queen as Supernumerary “Stranger Knights” of the Garter.
