"There's certainly a lot of people on the White House staff and [National Security Council] staff that shouldn't be there," Schiff said on CNN's "State of the Union."
"People like Miller and Gorka and others, who not only I think represent the same thing that Steve Bannon did, but aren't capable doing the job well," he continued. "So yes, I think there's more cleaning house that ought to take place."

Schiff's comments came two days after Stephen Bannon left his post as Trump's chief strategist, bringing to an end the populist firebrand's turbulent tenure in the Trump administration.
Bannon was seen as an influential adviser to Trump who often helped translate the president's populist and nationalist impulses into policy.
But critics often accused Bannon of being a dark force within Trump's White House who fueled tensions and pushed his own agenda.
Miller and Gorka are seen by many as espousing ideas similar to those pushed by Bannon. Some Democrats have called for their removals in recent days, as tensions heighten over Trump's comments on last weekend's violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Va.
