President Trump stressed Monday that his weeks-long stay in Bedminster, N.J., is a working trip, not a vacation.
"Working hard from New Jersey while White House goes through long planned renovation. Going to New York next week for more meetings," Trump tweeted Monday morning.

Trump visited the golf course at his Bedminster resort on Saturday, making it his 45th golf outing since Jan. 20. The news prompted criticism on social media, but Trump defended the trip.
"Working in Bedminster, N.J., as long planned construction is being done at the White House. This is not a vacation -meetings and calls!" Trump tweeted Sunday.
Trump and his staff were forced to abandon the West Wing of the White House this month for a pre-planned renovation to the building.
It's standard for the first family to take a weeks-long vacation for the White House undergoes annual maintenance in August. Trump has yet to take a vacation that is not at one of his resort properties.
