Meghan Markle has already started her new life after flying straight to Canada from the Commonwealth Day Service to reunite with baby Archie, while Prince Harry has stayed in the UK.
The Duke of Sussex was reportedly in Buckingham Palace yesterday for a series of meetings to plan his future work in the UK, as reported by The Telegraph.
Meanwhile his wife returned to their 10-month-old son Archie, but was said to have shed a tear in emotional farewells to staff.
It is understood that Harry will fly back to Vancouver Island soon, where the couple have been living in recent months their son at a luxurious £14million waterside mansion.

However they will keep their Windsor home, start paying commercial rent and pay back £2.4million in taxpayers' money spent on its renovations.
Harry and Meghan are also believed to have been looking at rental properties in California, including an eight-bedroom Malibu mansion worth £15million.
This would locate them near Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, and it is also close to Silicon Valley and Hollywood where the couple might have meetings.
The couple are predicted to make millions of pounds from public speaking, lucrative contracts, book deals - or perhaps for Meghan, a return to acting.
Buckingham Palace has been approached for comment.
They already have a network of high-profile friends such as Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
The couple also have to resolve the security issues around who will pay for their protection after their Buckingham Palace office closes on April 1.
Metropolitan Police officers guarding them have arranged major security operations in Canada and the UK - at huge cost to the British taxpayer.

But Canada, which has paid towards the cost since they moved to Vancouver Island last November, is withdrawing cover because of the couple’s ‘change in status’.
This means the bill for providing round-the-clock protection for the family will fall entirely on British taxpayers - estimated to be as much as £20million a year.
The couple travelled to Canada last year for a six-week Christmas break on Vancouver Island and have spent the majority of their time since in the country.
Harry arrived back in Britain on February 25 for an engagement in Edinburgh the following day, before Meghan joined him on March 5 for an event in London.
Harry is expected to return to Britain for the London Marathon on April 26, in his capacity as patron, assuming the event is not cancelled due to the coronavirus.
The couple will also attend the Invictus Games in The Hague in the Netherlands from May 9 to 16, with more than 500 competitors from 19 nations competing.
On March 31, which has become known as 'Megxit Day', Harry and Meghan cease to be senior royals as they walk away from the monarchy.
They will stop using their HRH styles. No documents will be signed or laws passed and the decision will not be binding, but it marks a new phase in their life.

Harry and Meghan wanted to step down as senior royals but have a dual role, supporting the Queen and earning their own money.
However, this was too controversial given their global profiles and would have led to accusations they were cashing in on their royal status.
The Queen therefore held a crisis summit at Sandringham in January with Harry, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge - and it was announced a few days later there would be no dual role for the Sussexes.
Harry and Meghan initially issued a bombshell statement on January 8, without warning the Queen, and after being told by the monarch to discuss matters with the Prince of Wales first.
The couple spoke of their struggles dealing with royal life and the intense media interest in a television documentary about their Africa tour last October.
Meghan said: 'It's not enough to just survive something, that's not the point of life. You have got to thrive.' Harry since said he wanted his family to have a 'more peaceful life'.

The couple aim to become nearly financially independent, although the Prince of Wales will also continue to offer private financial support to the couple.
This is expected to come from his £21 million a year Duchy of Cornwall income. The couple also intend to 'develop a new way to effect change' with a non-profit organisation.
They will not be able to use Sussex Royal as their brand, with the Queen and her senior officials said to have declared they must drop the use of the word 'Royal'.
The situation will be reviewed by the monarchy in 12 months' time, leaving the door open in case of a change of heart.
The Queen has told Harry the couple are much loved by the royals and would welcomed back if they wanted as working royals in the future.
