Why It's Possible Peter Weber Could Return to 'The Bachelor' Franchise in the Future - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

This season of The Bachelor ended on a very vague note. There is a possibility that Peter Weber will pursue a relationship with a contestant, but it’s still unclear. Will fans be able to see him on TV again? Find out what an executive had to say about following up on his story and more. [Spoiler Alert: Spoilers for The Bachelor season finale ahead.]

Peter Weber’s season of ‘The Bachelor’ wasn’t spoiled

It was teased from the very beginning that this season of The Bachelor won’t be able to be spoiled. The pilot talked about being excited about this.

“I’m really excited for this season because I’m very confident that no one is going to be able to spoil it, There’s a reason I believe that — and obviously I can’t say it, otherwise it gives it away. I’m very confident that Reality Steve and all of these people, they’re not going to find out what happens — there’s no way they’re going to find out,” Weber told The Hollywood Reporter.

We then found out the reason why. The After the Final Rose was where he revealed whether he is in a relationship after filming.

Weber and Madison Prewett might continue their relationship

The finale showed Weber getting down on one knee for Hannah Ann Sluss after Madison left the show. However, they broke up and Chris Harrison told Madison she might have another chance at love with him. They then reunited.

Weber and Madison reunited on After the Final Rose again. They don’t seem to be in a defined relationship despite admitting they still have feelings for each other.

“I love Peter and that hasn’t changed since that day in Australia,” she said. Madison later said, “I think we were both kind of hoping that after that day in Australia that we would be able to have closure and move on. But I think those feelings never went away.”

Chris Harrison asked them how this is going to end. “Listen, I just think it’s important to say now obviously we talked a little since. We haven’t seen each other, but we’ve been able to talk,” Weber said. “We’ve both been really hurt, extremely hurt and been through the ringer with all this. And I know there’s a lot of healing that both of us have to do. But I know the love and respect that I have for you and that will never change.”

The pilot later admitted, “I don’t know what this actually means right now.” Harrison asked them if they want to try to make their relationship work. Weber answered they’ll take it “one day at a time.”

Weber’s season ended on a very unclear note. Rob Mills, ABC’s Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials & Late-Night Programming, was asked in his interview with Variety if we will see Weber and Madison again.

“If it’s warranted,” he said. “I think, right now, they deserve their privacy. But of course we’ll check up on them. If there’s something that warrants us filming, we would love to be there.”

Bachelor Nation was certainly not happy with Weber by the end of the season. They probably would have something to say if we do see him on TV again.
